Raised on the south side of Chicago, Bethany was born into a church planter’s home. From Chicago to Alaska to Wisconsin, she has witnessed first hand the life of ministry. She graduated from Indiana Bible College in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, and a minor in Social Science/Counseling. She later served as an AIMer for 1 1/2 years to Prague, Czech Republic under the ministry of Roger and Becky Buckland. Upon returning to the States, she served as youth pastor for 18 years at TurnPoint Pentecostal Church in Reedsburg, WI. Since 2000, working full time as a licensed optometric technician for a local optometry practice, she has served as the Director of Music, as well as Ladies Ministries Director in her local church. She has served her local district as a sectional representative with the Wisconsin District Music Ministry, and also currently serves as chaplain for the local county sheriff department. In 2017, she obtained her general ministerial license with the UPCI, and for the past 8 years, has spent intentional time locally, as well as nationally, through the ministry of mentorship of young women, something she is passionate about. Though hobbies do include reading, running and great coffee, she’s currently in love with Scripture memorization and discipleship. She presently serves as Central Regional Representative for UPCI Women in Ministry.
